Review:

Told in dual perspectives, we follow Julia and Aaron after an impromptu meet cute sets off a series of fortunate run-ins that leads to flirting and eventually more. The charming setting of small-town Harper Landing, Washington lends itself to the believability of these repeat chance encounters. Bardsley does a masterful job of creating two complex and well rounded characters who are not defined by their relationship with the other. Though a quick read, the pacing is spot on, allowing us to learn about Julia and Aaron individually before we start to see them as a couple. Both a product of their upbringings, their flaws and strengths are excellently crafted to compliment the other. We can see how they fit before they are together. I adored seeing the characters develop and flourish as a benefit of their relationship. This is the feel good kind of story that I could revisit over and over again.
