Elise Kova has done it again! I could not put this book down. The mysteries, the tension, the romance (with just a bit of steam), the intrigue! It’s all so perfectly interwoven in this magical world that she’s created. Once again, though this takes place in the same world as A Deal with the Elf King it is not necessary to read one before the other. They can both be read independently and in any order.
Katria is my new favorite leading lady. I’m a sucker for a good romance, but I love that Katria’s journey is first and foremost one of self-love and acceptance. Her character growth is superb and SO satisfying.
As always, I don’t want to give too much away. Fantasy romance fans will adore this newest addition to the Married to Magic lineup.
